The genesis of a dream, an ambition to be fulfilled, an idea of a new concept...and that’s the introduction, the prologue of how it all started, why we are here today.. BLUE DOOR ESTATES BVI. We always had two life goals, the first to own a beach bar, the second to own a unique very special villa rental property. The first goal was achieved, Rose and I had MAD DOG, a bar that sold sandwiches up near the famous BATHS. We even had the distinction of being ranked number one on Trip Advisor for Virgin Gorda, no small feat. Been there done that, moving on. We continued to have the vision, the imagination, the creativity, and the desire to find and develop that perfect property. We recently had the fortunate opportunity to purchase our dream in Little Trunk, steps away from a secret intimate beach complete with a destroyed hurricane villa. The second life goal was becoming a reality. The work has started and what fun we are having designing, planning, SHOPPING. Now just a shell of a building with great “bones” with lumber, block, rebar, cement everything we need to start to put it back together again into the image we envisioned. PLUS happiness is having not only a cement mixer but also a dumpster in your front yard, you know work is progressing. Rose is currently concentrating on the garden. Plants and trees have been pruned, moved, and are being added getting ready to welcome guests. And when will that happen?? We are pushing hard for an opening sometime this summer, 2021.
